(6) Define such economic concepts as economy (its components and functions), economic systems (capitalism, socialism, communism,mixed), ecoomic treaties, regional and international economic instittions.



(7) Analyze the challenges and problems of today's global society.



(8) Evaluate Puerto Rico's current and future prospects in the context of an increasingly globalized world.



(9) Evaluate Puerto Rico's capacity to confront the challenges of a world in constant transformation.
